The 2005 Nahant Arts and Cultural Calendar 30 October 2005, Sunday Nahant Public Library Halloween Concert Time: 7:00pm Eastern Location: Ellingwood Chapel For Immediate Release: 14 September 2005 Nahant Public Library To Hold Halloween Concert By Daniel A. deStefano The Friends of the Nahant Public Library will sponsor a Hallowe’en Concert, starring violinist Gerry Mordis and pianist Marina Gendel at the Ellingwood Chapel at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, October 30, 2005. Mordis, who lives in Nahant, has played with many local orchestras and artists, including the famed Boston Pops. Gendel plays piano with the Boston Ballet. The superb performances of both musicians are well-known to those familiar with Nahant Public Library’s Hallowe’en concerts. The Ellingwood Chapel, a landmark of the town, donates both an eerie atmosphere and excellent acoustics to this special event. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
