2004 Memorial Day Update:

In preparation for the Memorial Day festivities the American Legion is hosting a Post clean up day. Volunteers are asked to stop by the post at 5 Coolidge Rd. from 10-12 on Saturday the 29th (rain date Sunday the 30th) to help get the grounds in ship shape for Memorial Day. Light refreshments will be served.

Veterans needed! Due to the number of Veterans attending the World War II Memorial dedication in Washington D.C. the marching ranks of Veterans for the Memorial Day Parade will be thinner than usual. We are asking all Veterans from any era to join us for the parade on Monday the 31st. Donning an old uniform is encouraged but not required to march. The parade will form up at 9:00 am at Forty-Steps in Nahant.
