Permits On GIS:

Building permits for 2008 are now also available directly through our GIS/Tax Map website. Here are the basic instructions to access all permit information:

1) Visit the Nahant GIS website: Click Here For Our GIS Website
2) Once the website has opened, select a street: "Search On Address"
3) Select a street number: select "Street Number" Under Address Box
Note: It is helpful to open the window Full Screen to display the info as large as possible.
4) Access the scrolling menu midway down the right hand column and "Select Parcel"
5) Click on the "I" Information Icon to access all the available data for the parcel
6) A "Menu Bar" will show across the bottom of the page
7) Click Directly on the "Map Parcel" to fill in the data bar
8) Clickable " Blue Buttons" and specific data will appear
9) Use the available option buttons to "Print and Save the Data"
