Support Our Troops: Care Package Update!
January 2010
Thanks to our generous citizens, we were able to sent a total of 43 boxes to our troops stationed in Afghanistan. We received $330 in cash donations which covered almost all of the shipping costs!
We would like to thank all those who donated the care packs and also those who donated money. It was great to see that even in these tough times people are still able to help and support others, especially our troops abroad.
We still have PLENTY of boxes here at the Fire Station if you would like to put a donation box together. We also have a few addresses here if people are interested in sending direct carepacks and letters to our troops!
Thank you very much for your continued support!
