2007 Recreation Program Update!

Nahant Recreation Sweatshirts:
Nahant Recreation Sweatshirts are on sale.  They are navy blue with a gold N and the word Nahant on them.  We have all many different styles such as crew, hooded pullover and zipper pullover.  Crew sizes are $20 and hooded ones are $25.  Monies raised will help fund the summer arts and craft program.  For more information call Jen at 781-592-5272.

Summer Tot-Lot:
Two free park programs will be offered again this summer.  One will be at the Library Playground on Pleasant Street and the other will be at the Fire Station Playground on Flash Road.  The program begins on Monday, July 9th and runs through August 17th.  Each park offers daily arts-and-craft activities.  There is also a sports program offered daily at the Fire Station Playground.  This is a free program that runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 – 12 noon each day.  Children of all ages are invited to attend, but children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult or caregiver.  For more information call Jen at 781-592-5272.

2007 Firework Tee Shirts & Donations It is that time of year again! We are actively planning for our annual Fourth of July fireworks show. Well, it will be here before we know it! And to help us get ready for a great summer, we are starting our fundraising effort for the summer of 2007.

We have set a goal to raise $15,000 for this years show. As usual, it will be great. But we need your help. We are asking the citizens of Nahant to make a donation to the fireworks. Even the smallest donation helps and is greatly appreciated.
